Irish Wish

Watched “Irish Wish” earlier, had a little time off and much grateful for it cause mama’s finally able to unwind.


So about the movie, pretty peculiar yet a very interesting one. I really like how unique the story plot is.


This movie is about “Maggie” who wish to the world for a marriage with her dream man, and granted; so she then led her dream life but apparently it’s not what she needs.


What she needs is meeting the man -the photographer, then embark on life’s journey together.


Maggie’s dream man was about to marry her best friend, but she wished otherwise so the fated couple split up for her to fill the role (note that she already met the photographer by this time)


Fast forward, Maggie is in the middle of preparing for her wedding when somehow, magically, the photographer became her wedding photographer. So they meet again.


Then they clicked and everything went to its right course, once again. The fated couple found their way back; Maggie found her courage to speak, stand for her rights, and be honest with her feelings. Then everything went well from then on.


My main take away for this movie is the world will always give you what you need, instead of what you want. A little detour here and there are expected so we can just choose to enjoy the ride. 


Because who knows what life has in store for us 🌿

The House

The house is the perfect copy of our old house. That’s why it’s very precious to me. Its front, the layout, the stairs, the room arrangements, down to the balcony. The place where both of my grandparents were still healthy. I’ve been missing him since yesterday, you know. And it didn’t dissipate until today, it gets worse. I hope he’s okay there. By this time I know that once someone is gone, you really never see them anymore. Not even in your dream. And I started to lose any ideas of how to see him, when his old photos begin to blur just as much as the memory. We miss you, Angku. We miss you so much and we don’t know how to deal with it.  I hope life after life treats you good. The only thing that we can give to you now is our prayer and our never ending love.  Please, can you just visit me in my dream from time to time? Laughter in The Fire

There’s this laughter in the fire So amazingly free, it baffles everyone who see. “Does she have no worries?” Everyone asked. Oh but she did, darling. She just choose to laugh her heart out in that moment of fire. For the fire’s too pretty, Too fierce to be weight by our past and present worries.
