This Mother

This mother has such longing

to see her child

Even before he was born.

That longing then turn itself 

Into a dream. A vivid one, 

Like she could reach him

With his round face & adorable little nose,

Long eyelashes, lips in full bloom,

Slim fingers and cute little toes.

The boy’s handsomely perfect,

looks exactly like his dear father.
